Last week, our students completed their End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments—a major accomplishment! As we enter the final stretch of the school year, we are excited to finish strong with our Telra In Motion celebration on June 10, which will also be an early release day.
Until then, teaching and learning continue, and every day counts. Thank you for partnering with us to keep students engaged, focused, and motivated as we close out another successful school year. Let’s finish strong together!
Important Reminders:
Telra in Motion Day is June 10th! Please sign up to volunteer below!

Telra in Motion Day - updated information and volunteers needed
Upcoming dates
June 10 - K-8 Telra in Motion / Early Release Day 2pm
Telra in Motion (K-8)
We always do something special for the last day of school. In the past few years, we held Field Day at the Hemby YMCA. As we've grown this year, we'll be splitting up by grade level into different activities to celebrate each child's year of achievements and to launch the summer with what we are calling "Telra in Motion."
Kindergarten - 5th grade will have a day of field games and fun with inflatables at our McKee campus
6th, 7th & 8th grade will be enjoying a fun day at Kate's Skate
Note, the list above has been amended from the original communication to show that 6th grade is NOT going to Morrow Mountain State Park, but rather they are now joining the event at Kate's Skate.
Volunteers to assist our K-8 grades celebrate "Telra in Motion" can sign up below. We need more volunteers, so please sign up!
Note, no visitors will be allowed on campus during our K-5 Field Day unless they have signed up to volunteer.
High school students already enjoyed their Telra in Motion day at South Town Wake Park last week. Note that June 10 is an early release day (2pm) for all students.

Bus Transportation Requests
It is time to request transportation for the 2026-27 school year. The form will go live later this week, and families will be notified through Alma, so please be on the lookout.
Telra Institute uses a lottery system to ensure fairness when interest exceeds capacity. In addition, families will be assigned points based on:
Active ridership during the 25-26 school year
Whether they ride both to and from school
Waitlist for 25-26
New families to Telra
Ridership will be monitored throughout the year and those requesting transportation should commit to riding at least 80% of the time. If ridership falls below this level, a student may be removed from transportation.
If you are requesting bus transportation for next school year, please complete the Bus Transportation Form when it is sent out. The form will be due on Friday, June 12th.
Summer Communications
Later this month you will receive a link to the 2026 Summer Landing Page. This page will serve as your central resource for the upcoming school year and will include comprehensive information about important dates, procedures, forms, and other key details for next school year.
Because the landing page is a live document, it will be updated in real time as new information becomes available. We encourage you to refer to it regularly throughout the summer.
If you have questions that are not addressed on the landing page, please contact us at frontdesk@telra.org.
