Understanding your waitlist information

Use the search tool above to look up your child’s current waitlist status. Your results may show one or two entries depending on whether you applied to one program or both.

What each field means?

Lottery ID
This is your child’s unique identifier for the admissions process. Enter this number to look up your record.

Lottery Grade
This is the grade level your child is currently being considered for.

  • Before placement testing, Lottery Grade is set to a default grade level based on the application and Telra’s grade-level mapping guidelines.

  • If your child completes placement testing, results may update the Lottery Grade.

  • If placement testing has not been completed, Lottery Grade will remain at the default grade level.

School/Program

This indicates the program you applied for: In-Person (Physical) or Remote Academy.
If you applied to both, you may see two entries—one for each program.

Sequence Number
This is your child’s current waitlist position for the specific Lottery Grade and Program shown in the same row.
A smaller Sequence Number means a more advantageous position on the waitlist.

How waitlist movement works?

Waitlist movement depends on seat availability and families accepting or declining offers. Because of this:

  • A Sequence Number is not a guarantee of an offer.

  • Waitlists are maintained separately by grade level and program.

  • Sequence Numbers often move down over time as offers are processed, but they can sometimes move up or down based on program preferences, grade changes, and seat adjustments.

Placement testing and grade changes

Placement testing helps us confirm the best academic placement for your child.

  • If placement testing results update your child’s Lottery Grade, your waitlist position will be reflected under the updated Lottery Grade going forward.

  • The placement test date shown in your results is the most recent placement test date recorded in our system.

  • Placement test results are preliminary and may change if additional testing is completed.

Offers and timing

If a seat becomes available, offers are made based on availability and eligibility within each grade and program.

  • Offers are time-sensitive and must be accepted by the deadline provided in the offer email.

  • If an offer is declined or expires, seats may be offered to the next students on the waitlist.

  • Waitlist information is updated periodically as placement results and seat availability change.
