Telra Telegram - August 28, 2025

We are almost through our first full week of school, and our students are filling up their brains. Next week is a short week - no school on Monday (Labor Day) or Tuesday (staff workday).

Read on for more details about:

Explore begins for Grades 4-8

Tomorrow, our grade 4-8 students will enjoy their first Explore sessions of the year in Block 1 or Block 2. Check Alma for schedule updates. Lists will also be posted around the school in the morning to help students figure out where they will be.

We strive to deliver as many of students' top choices as possible, but if you didn't get your favorite, we will rotate after the first trimester and you'll have another shot!

Extracurriculars

Our Fall Extracurriculars page is live! Start signing up for some athletic, intellectual, and artistic endeavors now => 25-26 Fall Extracurriculars

Check back there frequently as we strive to keep it up to date as we add more extracurricular options for students.

Alma resources

You can now find some often-used resources for families on Alma. Click on the Bullhorn icon where you typically find announcements, and you'll see a new tab titled Resource Links.

Currently, you can find information about

  • How to log into your child's Telra email / Teams account and access the Dismissal Plans tools as parent

  • School calendars and the NC testing calendar

  • Accessing your child's i-Ready scores from recent (and future) testing.
