τau Secret Donor Challenge - Star Wars

Thanks to a generous offer from one of our Telra families, we are able to launch a Secret Donor Challenge for Star Wars Day (May the 4th).

For the first 50 new Telra Annual Use Fund donations of $100 or more between now and May 4th, Yoda (Our Secret Donor) will match $50/donor!

τau, or τau not. There is no try.
τau, or τau not. There is no try.

This is a stellar opportunity to take your contributions to hyperspace with a match made in the galaxy! See a statement from our Secret Donor below.

We are grateful to be part of the Telra family. The experiences we have encountered here are unparalleled to anything we have been part of or heard about from other parents in our network. For this reason, we are extremely thankful for the opportunity to contribute. We also encourage you to celebrate and support this organization and our community through your donations.

Telra Annual Use Fund

The Telra Annual Use Fund (τau) is the school's highest priority fundraising effort in a galaxy not so far away! If all Telra families join the Rebel Alliance and contribute, we can close the charter school funding gap and deliver a Jedi-level education for our young Padawans.

May the Funds Be With Us!

Already this year, our families have contributed over $50,000 to our galactic cause!

Telra Institute has launched the Telra Annual Use Fund with a straightforward ask to families:

Will you contribute $1,200 per student per year to help us make Telra even better?

Funding priorities

  • Attract, develop, and retain excellent teachers

    • Competitive teacher compensation

    • Improve course allocation & protect planning

    • Professional development

  • Extend school programming

    • Sustain school accessibility - bus transportation, field trips, books, technology, etc. at low/no cost

    • Expand extracurricular offerings with more clubs, sports, & social events

    • Support our Family Council

    • Ensure all students and teachers have necessary classroom supplies

  • Improve staffing ratios

    • Split instructional groups when needed

    • Instructional assistants in high need classroom

    • Expand intervention services

$1200 is our target contribution per student, however, we understand that not every family has the means to make that contribution. Every dollar helps and we ask you to give what you’re comfortable with.

For others, you may be in a position to be even more generous and to contribute more than your family's target contribution. If you can contribute the target amount on behalf of your children + an anonymous classmate, you will do an enormous service to make the Telra community stronger and help us make advanced learning more accessible.
