GoPlaySave 2025

Telra’s GoPlaySave Fundraiser starts 9/22!

We are once again excited to host the GoPlaySave Telra fundraiser! GoPlaySave is a popular Charlotte area coupon book, and our school earns funds for each book sold!

Why do we do it?

Proceeds from this sale help fund exciting opportunities for our students, such as field trips, field day, after-school clubs, and more. Charter schools receive a minimum level of funding, so fundraisers like this help us to provide these extras.


Of all possible fundraising sales, we chose GoPlaySave because we think it provides value to our families as well!


Each book is $30 and full of coupons for restaurants and attractions all around the Charlotte area. It’s a smart investment and easy to make your money back in just a couple of uses. Your friends, family and neighbors will love this book!

How to participate

Families can participate in either one of two ways:


  1. Purchase a book for your family. (No outside selling.) Please follow this link if you would like to purchase a book for your family, but do not wish to participate in selling. Allow 1-2 days after payment for book(s) to be sent home with your child. Please note that the purchasing platform will automatically prompt for a donation to Zeffy. This amount is fully customizable, including the option to set it to zero. OR....


  2. Receive a fundraising packet to sell books to friends, family, neighbors, etc. and earn cool rewards like tickets to Sky Zone, Sports Connection, Go Karting, Brixx Pizza and more! Sign up here to have a fundraising packet sent home with your child. A loaner book will be provided so your child can show off all of the great deals inside! Envelopes with payments should be returned to the front office on or before 10/6. Please do not bring these to your child's teacher. The loaner book must also be returned (if not being purchased). All orders, including those placed online, will be sent home with students to deliver, typically within 2 school days after receiving the envelope. No books will be shipped.

FAQs

 

  1. Do I collect payment now, or after the books come in? Payments must be collected (or paid online) when the order is taken.

  2. What methods of payment can I accept from customers? Payment options include cash, check (made payable to Telra Institute), or credit card by using our school link: http://goplaysavecharlotte.com/store/telra2026

  3. Can I sell for my child at my place of work? Absolutely!  Get the word out and sell wherever you can!

  4. Can I create my own sales link and post on social media? Yes!  Follow the steps below to set up your custom URL for credit card payments:

    1. Look for the "Start Selling" button on our school’s site by visiting the school site: http://goplaysavecharlotte.com/store/telra2026

    2. Enter your student’s information

    3. Share your unique link with friends and family. They can pay with a debit or credit card. 

  5. If a customer pays online by credit card, will the book be shipped to them? No.  All books will be given to students to distribute. No books will be shipped.

  6. I sold books. When will I get them? Books are typically distributed 1-2 days after we receive the envelope and payment.

  7. My child sold 20 books – how will he get them all home? If your child has a large order of books, you may email GoPlaySave@telra.org to arrange for a pickup.

  8. What do I do with my loaner book? If you did not make any sales, please return the book to the front office with your envelope. If you made sales, you have two options:

    1. Use the loaner book to fulfill a sale (payment must be turned in for this book)

    2. Return the book with your envelope/payments to the front office and we will give you fresh copies for your customers.

  9. When will I get my prize? Prizes will be distributed after fall break.

  10. Who should I reach out to if I have still have questions? Direct all questions to GoPlaySave@telra.org (Please refrain from contacting the front office or teachers regarding this fundraiser.)
