Program Details: Let Me Run is a nonprofit wellness program that inspires boys to be themselves, be active, and belong. With a comprehensive curriculum that applies the power of running, the program encourages boys to develop their psychological, emotional and social health, in addition to their physical health. Twice a week for seven weeks, two trained volunteer coaches lead an elementary or middle school team through practice. Designed to amplify confidence, self-expression, and respect for others, each practice includes a lesson from the Let Me Run curriculum that incorporates running, games and activities. The spring season culminates in a 5k race festival that celebrates the boys’ personal growth. Register here: https://www.pinwheel.us/register/index/CLT-S24?sid=7cb98385d4394739907849b297203a01

Intent to Return

It's that time of year where we thank you for being part of our community this year and ask about your intent to return to Telra in the fall. We understand that job changes, relocations, and other family circumstances can drive these decisions as well as individual preferences regarding academic, extracurricular, and social opportunities for your child(ren).

Below, you'll find directions on completing the Re-Enrollment process in Alma.  We ask that you complete this by Thursday, March 28th to reserve your space for the fall.

  1. Log into Alma and find Alma Start: When you log into https://telra.getalma.com you should see your children's names and grade levels for the 2023-24 school year. Next to their name, you'll see a link for Alma Start. Click on it.

  2. Complete the intent to return form: Once in Alma Start, you should see icons for each of your children enrolled at Telra in the current school year (2023-24).

  3. For each one, click on Begin New Process.

  4. Select the Current school year

  5. Select "Intent to return 24-25" form to launch that Process.

  6. You’ll then see that on the “Active Processes” screen. Click on the Intent to return 24-25 process to complete the required forms.

  7. You’ll be asked to answer Yes/No regarding your intent to continue with Telra in the fall.

  8. Click "Complete" and on the next screen, click "Submit"

  9. You’ll know you are finished when you are returned to the “Active Process” screen and you see that the Intent to return 24-25 process is in the “Staff Review” stage with “nothing to do”

  10. Repeat this for each child at Telra.

  11. Wait:

  12. That's all you can do for now. Telra staff need to review and confirm your responses. Alma Start will show that the intent to return process is under "staff review"

  13. If you are not continuing at Telra, that's all you need to do. If you are rejoining us next year, we'll push you into the Re-registration process.

  14. Start the Re-registration process: (for those continuing at Telra)

  15. Towards the end of March, when you log into Alma Start, you'll see another Active Process Re-Registration 24-25

  16. The first stage of this process is completing Information updates. This is where you can inform us if you want to update your email, phone number, address, or emergency contacts. We also ask you update your child's health information and transportation plans. Complete these forms and click submit.

  17. The next stage of this process is Certifications. Click through to read, understand, and type your name as your signature for each of them. Once again, click submit when you've completed all this.

  18. You're done. The next steps are for Telra staff to transfer all your information into the new school year. Nothing more for you to do!

Thank you for being part of the Telra community, it’s been a great year so far and there is still more to come!  Please contact frontdesk@telra.org if you run into problems with the form and we'll help you out as best we can.

Telra's Inaugural History Fair, Thursday March 21, 5-7pm

Calling all history lovers! Our 4th - 8th Grade students have had the privilege to engage in the History Fair, where they've crafted projects centered on the theme "Turning Points in History". We invite you to join us in the gum, next Thursday, March 21 from 5-7pm, to view these projects! Thank you to Dr. Tenhulzen, Mrs. Gimeli and Mrs. McClain for orchestrating this enriching opportunity for our students and for supporting them throughout the process. We can't wait to see all the projects and discovering who our deserving winners are! We hope to see you there!
