Telra Telegram - January 12, 2024

Today's telegram is a bumper issue with plenty of pertinent information for the coming weeks. Monday, January 15 is Martin Luther King Day and there is no school. We commemorate MLK Day, celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy in advancing civil rights. Let's be inspired by his vision of unity and equality.

MLK Day Service Project

At Telra we embrace the value of compassionately helping and serving others. In the Spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who said "Everyone can be great because everybody can serve,"

Telra will be hosting a MLK Call to Service event on Monday, January 15th between 10-12pm in our gym, organized by our own Mrs. De Graaf. We will be supporting Bright Blessings, a nonprofit organization in Charlotte that assists homeless and impoverished children by creating birthday cards of encouragement and well wishes for the children this organization serves.

Show up at 10am Monday, and specific instructions and materials will all be provided for your families to engage in this activity together.
