Telra Telegram - February 23

A farewell message from our K-3 Principal, Principal Soto-Bazemore

Dear Telra families, Today was a bittersweet day and I have never felt so loved and appreciated as Principal. I want to thank you for entrusting Telra with your children under my leadership for the past 3 years. It has been my privilege to serve and partner with you to see our students grow into the very best versions of themselves each and every single year.

Thank you for your undying support, your kind words, and the fun memories we've shared through our experience with your incredible children. The School-Family partnership isn’t always easy, and I appreciate all of the honest conversations we have had to make sure we are all putting our best foot forward for our students. I have forged meaningful connections with students and families, and they will have a lasting impact on my life.

As I move on from Telra, I hope to see your familiar faces around Charlotte and if you do spot me out and about, don’t be a stranger! I will always cheer and root for the well-rounded success of our Telra students and I look forward to seeing all the amazing things they will accomplish in the future

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Sincerely,

Principal Soto-Bazemore

Come and Try Squash, this Sunday February 25th from 1-2:30pm

Squash -- one of the most dynamic and fastest growing sports -- is exploding at the junior level.  The Ivy League and other top colleges place a strong emphasis on their squash programs and often give consideration to applicants who play squash. Named by Forbes magazine as the top ranked healthiest sport, squash is a great cardio workout that also provides ideal training for other sports.  A lifetime sport, squash is a fun activity the whole family can participate in! Come and give it a try this Sunday!
