Happy Friday, Telra Families! It has been a wonderful first week back after Thanksgiving Break. Today, our Telra Spirit Committee has worked their magic, transforming our hallways into a winter wonderland, sparking excitement for the upcoming holiday season among students and staff alike. As part of the festive spirit, our highly anticipated Winter Book Fair is just around the corner, read on for more information.

Morning Arrivals As we strive to create a smooth and timely start to each school day, we'd like to remind you of our school arrival procedures. The carline opens at 7:50 am and closes promptly at 8:15 am providing ample time for a convenient drop-off. Lately we have noticed a trend of increased traffic towards the end of the carline window, impacting the start of homeroom time. To maximize learning opportunities and allow students to settle in, we kindly request your cooperation in arriving earlier within the carline window.
As per our Family Handbook, students arriving after 8:15 am must be walked to the front office to check in. A parent/guardian signature is required for late arrivals.
Your support in adhering to these arrival times is greatly appreciated, as it contributes to a positive and efficient start to each school day. Thank you for helping us create an environment where students can thrive and succeed. Need assistance this Holiday Season? The Matthews HELP Center is inviting families to apply for its annual holiday assistance program! If you are a family that needs assistance to make this holiday season special for your family, please contact the center for more information. Spiritwear orders
Spiritwear orders for this month have arrived and are available for pick-up at front office! If you ordered, please send your student to front office to collect the order, or come by the front office anytime during the school day to collect your order. Want your own spiritwear? You can order here
Coming Soon.... Winter Book Fair (11-15 December)
We're thrilled to announce our collaboration with Bedford Falls for this year's Winter Fair! Keep an eye out for the shopping schedule and volunteer sign-ups, which will be released on Monday.
For a delightful family experience, mark your calendars for Thursday, December 14th, as we invite you to join us for "Breakfast and Books" from 7 am to 8 am. This special event allows you to shop the fair as a family, savor a coffee and breakfast, and socialize with other Telra friends.
